2014 Woodley Healey

Austin-Healey was a British sports car manufacturer that produced cars between 1952 and 1972. The company was formed as a joint venture between Austin and the Donald Healey Motor Company, a renowned engineering and design firm.

Austin Healey’s were made until 1972, when the 20-year agreement between Healey and Austin came to an end.

This specific car is a 2014 Austin Woodley Healey. The Woodley Healey is a replica of an Austin Healey, built under license by Woodley Healey in Cape Town and in the UK. Production was done by hand and only to order. Only 34 cars were built by Woodley in Cape Town.

The Woodley uses the E30 325i engine and an automatic gearbox. The cars weighed around 800kgs, depending on specification and finish. These lightweight cars, with a powerful BMW engine up front are very lively, to say the least. Best acceleration claim for the car is 5,8 seconds from standstill to 100km/h.

This car is finished in metallic grey with black interior. A Moto Lita steering wheel and beautiful wire spoked wheels completes the presentation.
