2012 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS

The first Porsche 911 GTS was introduced in 2011 as part of the 997-generation model line-up.

The car was more powerful than the standard S model and handled better thanks to a bespoke new suspension design. The GTS was a driver’s car and offered as a more street friendly alternative to the track focused GT3.

The GTS was distinguished from the normal 997 Carrera and Carrera S by:

• Centre lock wheels, painted black
• Sport Design front bumper
• Black out trim
• GT2 Side skirts
• Stainless steel “Carrera GTS” door sills
• Alcantara trim in the interior
• “GTS” decals and badges

Both the rear wheel drive and the all-wheel drive models of the GTS came in the wider body, 44mm wider than a standard 911. The car was also 20mm lower and the engine produced 300kW or 408hp.

This specific car was registered in 2011 but has a 2012 Chassis number. The car has done only 53000kms from new. Some addition specs include dynamic cornering lights, Bose sound system, iPod connection, full leather interior, rear PDC and cruise control. Finished in Platinum Silver with black interior it also has a full-service history from Porsche SA. It is in immaculate condition.

Porsche built just over 2 200 997 GTS models, with only a handful designated as 2012 models. This is a true modern-day classic – Very fast and very beautiful!
