The second-generation Porsche 997 was introduced late 2008.
The Porsche 997 Generation 2 had a 3.8L engine with an integrated dry sump, producing 283kW or 380Hp at 6 500 rpm.
Zero to 100 km/h came up in 4.2 seconds while the top speed was 303 km/h.
Apart from the new powerplant there were several cosmetic changes from the first-generation cars. The most important improvement was the introduction of the PDK gearbox, replacing the Tiptronic gearbox in the older automatic cars.
