2006 Lotus Exige

The Lotus Exige is a British two-door, two-seater sports car. It is a more track-focused coupe version of the Lotus Elise roadster, and the series 1 cars were introduced in 2000.

The series 2 Exige was introduced in 2004. It had a 1,8L 16-valve DOHC Toyota engine producing 142kW. The mid- mounted configuration of the car allowed for impeccable handling characteristics. Downforce was enhanced by the addition of a front splitter, a fibreglass roof and roof scoop as well as an engine cover and rear spoiler. A standard Series 2 Exige weighs only 914 kg. The result of the low curb weight, powerful engine and the stiff suspension  is a very fast and agile sports car that really performs very well as a track car! Zero to 100 km/h takes only 4,7 seconds and top speed is around 235 km/h.

This specific car is a 2006 model with only 62 000kms on from new. It has a very good service history with the last major service done in September 2022. It is stunning in Canyon Red metallic paintwork with black wheels. This car is completely standard, as it came from the factory with no modifications.

The Lotus Exige must be one of the most exciting sports cars you can buy. There are not many of these available, which makes it quite exclusive as well!
