2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S (997)

The first Porsche 911 type 997 cars were delivered in November 2005. The 997 replaced the 996 and was basically an evolution of the 996 with mechanical and cosmetic changes and improvements. The most notable exterior change was the replacement of the so called ”fried egg” headlamps to the new, more appealing round or “bug-eye” lights.

This specific car is a 2005 997 Carrera S with an interesting history!

The car received a new engine from Porsche in 2013 on 58 324 kms. It was then completely upgraded to something very special by a well-respected Porsche Specialist. The mileage was zeroed; the car now has 24 649 kms on. Dubbed “Project Daytona Blue”, the following upgrades were made:
