
2004 Porsche 911 Turbo 450HP (996)
The 996 Turbo was released at the Frankfurt Motor show in September 1999 and was on sale in the second half of 2000 as a 2001 model. It was the first water-cooled Porsche 911 turbo and the first 911 Turbo available with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic, known as a Tiptronic gearbox.
The 996 Turbo is powered by a water-cooled twin-turbocharged, 3.6L flat-6 engine, derived from the 1998 Le Mans winning GT1 race car. It produces 309kW or 420hp with 563 Nm of torque available. Zero to 100km/h take 4.2 seconds and top speed is 310km/h.
This specific car is one of two 450Hp cars that came to SA in 2004. It has done 61 037 kms and has a full-service history with the Agents. The car is finished in Speed yellow with black leather interior.
