2000 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 (996)

The Porsche 996 was the first 911 with a water-cooled engine and was produced from 1997 to 2006. It was the first all-new 911 since the original car with an all-new chassis platform and a water-cooled engine. It had nothing in common with its predecessor and was a complete breakthrough from the original car other than the overall layout.

The first-generation car features a 3,4 L flat-six engine that produces 221 kw with both four all wheel and rear wheel drive variants available. Power could be delivered to the road via a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed Tiptronic gearbox.
