1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (993)

The 993 represented the last of the air cooled 911.

The 993 was much improved over, and quite different from its predecessor the 964. According to Porsche, every part of the car was taken back to the drawing board and redesigned. This included the engine and only 20% of its parts were carried over from the 964. Porsche said that the 993 was “a significant advance” over the previous 964 both technically and visually.

The Carrera 4S was built from 1996 and shared the same body as the Turbo model, but it had an uprated naturally aspirated Carrera engine in the rear. The 4S had slightly lowered suspension as compared to standard Carrera models.

This specific car is a 1996 4S Coupe with only 41500kms on from new. It has a full-service history with Porsche SA until the car was bought by a collector 11 years ago.
