1970 Land Rover Series IIA SWB
The Land Rover series I, II and III were off-road vehicles produced by Rover from 1948. The car was inspired by the US-built Willy’s Jeep and are commonly referred to as series Land Rovers. The Land Rover was the first mass-produced civilian four-wheel drive car with doors. Land Rovers had a reputation for being very robust cars and in 1992 Land Rover claimed that more than 70% of all the cars they produced were still on the road!
This particular car is a very nice example of a Series Land Rover short wheelbase, or a 88′, as they were known. It is a 1970 model with a partial service history available. The car is finished in beautiful beige exterior. It is a numbers match car with the original 2,25L engine and it has been mechanically and cosmetically restored to a very high level. The attention to detail is astonishing and the car drives like a dream!
A great opportunity to own a beautifully restored Series Land Rover, an iconic British off-road vehicle!
