1959 Volkswagen Beetle

The Beetle is a two door, rear-engine economy car, designed to take five occupants. It was manufactured by Volkswagen from 1938 until 2003. It is officially known as the Volkswagen Type 1. Informally and affectionately, it is known all over the world as the Bug. With 21,529,464 cars built the Beetle is the longest running and most manufactured car of a single platform ever made!

This specific car is a 1959 that was restored a few years ago to a very nice car. The car is completely original, engine, gearbox and body finished in Garnet red with beige interior.

This Beetle is running a 12 volt system and everything works perfectly, including the famous “pop out” or Semaphore turn signals. The original engine has been retained and runs like a dream.  A truly beautiful classic Beetle that can be very easily be used as an everyday commute, easy to drive and inexpensive to maintain.
