The Chevrolet Task Force was a light and medium duty truck series introduced by Chevrolet in 1955. It was there first major redesign since 1947. These trucks were sold with various minor changes over the years. It was only from 1958 that the series was renamed Apache but to this day even the earlier models are referred to as “Apache”.

This specific example is a 1955 car that has been professionally rebuilt as a restomod. No expense was spared, and the result is breathtakingly beautiful! Engine is a 383 Stroker, balanced by Fullrace Engineering and fitted with a host of very special parts, including:

  • Sealed power 383 hyper pistons
  • 5,7-inch Molnar conrods
  • Eagle 383 ultra-light crankshaft
  • Milodon oil pump and drive
  • Competition cams
  • Aluminium heads with roller rockers, and the list goes on…

The customary Jaguar suspension was used with a B&M Turbo 400 automatic gearbox. The car is finished in striking black with a bespoke red leather interior, complimented with a set of 20-inch U.S Mags. This must be one of the best examples of this iconic American Pick-Up!
