2020 BMW M2 CS

The BMW M2 CS is a more track focused version of the BMW M2. It was unveiled online in November 2019. It went into production in March 2020 with a planned production run of only 2,200 units.

The M2 CS makes use of the same power plant found in the BMW M4 Competition. It produces 331kW and 550Nm of torque which is good for a 0-100 of 4 seconds for the manual and 3.8 seconds for the DCT.

The M Performance Brakes were carried over from the M2 Competition. Adaptive M suspension as well as an electronically locking differential were standard trim. BMW took numerous measures to save weight on the CS. Numerous suspension components such as the control arms and brake hubs were made from forged aluminum. The bonnet, roof and center console were all made from carbon fibre composites. The lightweight wheels are a key differentiator from standard M2 models. In case you forget what you are driving, BMW put all sorts of reminders inside the car including CS badging, special edition plaques, alcantara, carbon fibre and deviated stitching to remind you that what you are driving is something truly special. The M2 CS was awarded the highly coveted EVO Car Of The Year award for 2020, beating the likes of Porsche, McLaren and various other super car manufacturers in the process.

This specific car is a 2020 BMW M2 CS with a manual gearbox. Only 30 M2 CS cars made it to South African shores, of which a handful were manuals! It has done only 3,800 kms from new and has a full-service history with BMW. Finished in beautiful Alpine White with blacked out trim.
