2007 Audi RS4 Sedan

The B7 Audi RS4 was produced between 2006 and 2008 and was the first since the B5 RS4 which went on sale in the year 2000.  Around 10,000 B7 RS4s were built. The initial styling as a sedan was a radical change because previously Audi RS4s were available exclusively as an Avant or a station wagon body style.  Audi later introduced the Avant and Cabriolet variants. The RS4 was set apart from normal A4s and S4s by their flared wheel arches to accommodate a wider track and exclusive 19-inch wheels, additional air intakes for the extra radiators as well as a valve-controlled exhaust with large oval tail pipes.

The B7 RS4 is powered by the same 4.2 V8 FSI motor found in the Audi Q7 of the time. Power output is 309 kw and 430 NM of torque which is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. According to Audi, 0-100 came up in 4.8 seconds and went on to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. However, the car has been tested doing 0-100 in 4.5 seconds and some have reported the limiter is rather flexible allowing the car to achieve top speeds more in the region of 270 km/h!

This specific car is a 2007 Audi RS4 sedan. It has been lovingly cared for and thoroughly enjoyed throughout its life with a very good service history predominantly by the agents. The previous owner did on average two trips a month down to KZN from Gauteng meaning the 170,000 kms indicated on the clocks was mainly long-distance mileage.
