1994 BMW M3 Coupe (E36)
The BMW E36 is the third generation of the 3 Series produced between 1990 and 2000. It was initially introduced as a sedan, but coupe, cabriolet, touring and hatchback versions were later added to the line-up. The most significant change to the E36 compared to its predecessor was the multi-link rear suspension. Other advances were made in the safety department by means of airbags, ABS brakes and stability management systems.
The E36 M3 was introduced in 1992. Unlike its E30 predecessor, it was not a homologation special meaning it was not developed with racing in mind. The first cars came with the S50 3.0L inline six that produced 210kW and 320Nm of torque. For the first cars, power was delivered to the rear wheels via a 5-Speed manual gearbox. The facelift models received a 3.2 inline 6 and a six-speed manual gearbox in 1995.
This specific car is a 1994 E36 M3 Coupe. Finished in Dakar Yellow with Black leather interior, it is quite literally the “poster car” spec. It has covered only 85 000 km from new and has a comprehensive service history.
These cars are becoming increasingly rare especially in bone standard condition like this. A great car to own whether you are a serious collector or a M-car enthusiast looking for a nice example to own.
