2015 Porsche Boxster GTS (981)
The third generation Boxster and Cayman models are called Porsche 981.
The 981 has a new body with 40 percent more torsional rigidity. Although the wheel base is longer than its predecessor and front and rear track is wider, the 981 Boxster is 35 kilograms lighter than the 987. It was the last Boxster fitted with a 6 cylinder engine.
The GTS retains the 3.4 L engine from the normal Boxster S but develops 243 kW or 330HP with 370NM of torque available. Zero to 100 takes 4.7 seconds and top speed is 281kms/h.
