2010 BMW 125i Cabriolet
The first generation of the BMW 1-Series, commonly referred to as the E8x consisted of several body styles including hatchbacks, coupes and cabriolets. BMW began production with 5-door and 3-door hatchbacks in 2004 later introducing the coupe and cabriolet body styles in 2007. The 1-Series replaced the 3-Series compact as BMW’s entry level model.
The 1-Series was special because it featured a front engine rear drive setup which was very rare in the hatchback segment. It was produced alongside the E9x BMW 3-Series which it shared 60% of its parts with including: suspension, structural components, engines, drivetrains and so on. One of the engines available was a 3.0 N52 in-line 6 producing 160 kw and 270 NM of torque. This was fitted in the 125i featured in the pictures above. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox which enables a 0-100km/h of 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 238 km/h.
This specific car is a 2010 one owner car from new with only 71 000 km on the clock and a full-service history. It is finished in beautiful Cashmere Silver Metallic over a beige interior and is without a single mark. A beautiful, very looked after example of an E88 125i Cabriolet.
