
1972 Ford F100 Restomod
The Ford F-Series is a series of light duty trucks manufactured and sold by Ford. The F-Series was first introduced in 1948 and is still available today, in its 14th generation! From 1953 to 1985 the entry level ½ ton truck was known as the F-100.
The 5th generation F-Series spanned from 1967 to 1972. It shared the platform from the fourth-generation model, but dimensions were increased, engine options were expanded and plusher trim levels became available.
This specific car is a restomod, based on a 1972 F-100 chassis. The car has been completely restored a few years ago and upgraded to a very fast and reliable Ford F-100! It is finished in stunning pearlescent orange and complimented with a black leather interior with orange piping. The major upgrades on the car include the following:
- Lowered Jaguar suspension front and rear
- Jaguar disc brakes front and rear
- 4-speed Automatic gearbox
- Lexus 1 UZ V-8 motor
- Wood panelled loading bay
- Custom made, lockable decklid
